Speed Badminton

The Chav at work was teasing about badminton being a slower game than squash so we looked it up on Wikipedia. Turns out that badminton is recognised as the fastest sport in the world with shuttles reaching speeds of up to 332 km/h whereas squash can only manage a paltry 200 km/h. Consequently I went along to our weekly badders meet determined to hit top speed but only succeeded in pinging the shuttle in all directions other than where I wanted. Had some good games tonight though.

Relight My Fire

Today (and for much of the last week or so), it is cold. And, as Boots is back from her holiday in Bordeaux later today, this morning I have re-lit the Aga.
