Little Britain Live

Went to see Little Britain Live at the Sheffield Hallam FM Arena last night. It was very well done and worked well on stage - all the characters and catchphrases were present and correct. The Sheffield Arena is pretty big - we were sitting on the floor (in the middle of the ice rink), quite a way from the stage, but as the whole show was projected on to two huge TV screens it didn't matter overly. Particularly liked the computer generated projections and narrative by Tom Baker which linked the sketches together and was very impressed with the speed they managed to change costumes and keep everything so fast paced. Highlights were the Daffyd sketch, the two sketches where members of the audience were dragged on stage and the Dennis Waterman sketch. A good, fun night.

The Woods

We went with C&C this morning to look at the six acres of woodland they're thinking of buying near Scarborough. It's mostly full of pine trees, but there are some native broad leaf trees too. They're hoping to go camping there in the summer so it looks like we'll be helping them to chop down trees and clear the scrub to make a clearing soon!
